And the journey continues....

Greetings from Canyonville situated just about on the border between Oregon and California. It was an extraordinarily beautiful day today made all the more so by our expectation of thick fog and rain! Now, most travelers would take advantage of such good weather to drive through the mountain pass that they'd been dreading for days but no, not us! No, we are on the Oregon side of the Pass because....we discovered an absolutely first class RV park - chaffeured to our site, provided assistance in parking, beautiful indoor pools and spa, shuttle service to the Casino included! How could we not stop?! Now, of course, Lynne instead of just sitting back and enjoying the scenery, is busy perseverating on how the weather will be tomorrow when the pass must be crossed. She is somewhat reassured by the fact that temperatures are well above freezing so, it's unlikely to be snowing, but, how thick will the fog be? Peggy has no such worries, and sits enjoying her Corona enthralled with the beauty etc. etc. etc....Lynne has now started to worry about her worrying!....

Looking forward to the stories of crossing the "Pass", especially such stories in California & Oregon, puts you in mind of the Gold Rush - stories of people getting 'caught in the Pass' struggling to survive the harsh winter, only with there summer clothes and dwindling supplies, never to see the oasis of California, Palm Springs California, to be exact!

Not to worry, this is the new millenium!

Worrying is underrated, and undervalued, I might add, as a character trait.

Why on earth would you worry about your worrying? Worried that there might not be anything to worry about? The beauty of worrying is, there is never a shortage of things to worry about!

Maybe we could play the game: What is the person in the picture worrying about? In this case it doesn't look like Auntie Peg, Boomer (or is that Zoey?) are worrying at all!

HMMMM, it's a good thing that someone is taking responsibility for worrying! Well done Auntie Lynne!!

Enjoy the day!
